Come celebrate summer and the 41st edition of the “Fête de la musique” at Wheels and Waves Village! 4 artists will perform from 5:30pm between sunset, beach, foodtruck for the first day of Wheels and Waves #12

TODD YENI - DJ SET 5:30PM

The most handyman / fisherman DJ who left his countryside nest to come and set the Wheels and Waves Village on fire at nightfall. Todd Yéni, young Parisian originally passionate about hip hop, jazz and soul, discovered electronic music during his first stay in New York. It's there he discovered his unconditional love for house and old school techno. The years have refined his selection being halfway between Detroit, New York and Paris.

TIWAYO - LIVE CONCERT 7PM

Between blues, soul and folk, the French singer from the States will inaugurate the stage of Wheels and Waves 2023. He went on the blues road at a very young age and recorded his first album with Mark Neill, whose work with the Black Keys that he admires. Having already shared the stage with Marcus Miller or Norah Jones, the ideal kickoff for the "Fête de la Musique" Happy Hour.

DJEGO - LIVE CONCERT 8:30PM

Between Nicolas Jaar's electronics, Pink Floyd's psychedelic guitars and Morricone's background, it's in 2020 that Jérémy Vallantin (Guitar), Axel Godier (Machines) decided to get together to invent a unique style. It is on the stage of Wheels and Waves that the duo intends to stand out, offering to the public a journey that will leave no one indifferent.

THEA - LIVE CONCERT 10PM

Musician from Bordeaux origin, Théa has settled on the beaches of Hossegor. After a first EP released in 2018 by Haikar Records, a passage at the "Chantier des Francos" and also at the "InrocksLab", she returns with a second "The End". "Rich in pop mischief and folk spleen one thinks of fake wise girls like Feist or Regina Spektor.", JD Beauvallet. The "perfect match" for a sunset in music...

Born in 1988 in Quebec, Matt Holubowski is a renowned Canadian artist known for his folk music and mesmerizing live performances. Familiar from European festivals, he was invited by Robert Smith of the Cure to the Meltdown Festival in London. His unique voice and stage presence make him a must-see artist for all folk music lovers.

BASTIANO BACI : Active member of the Pétrole and Ulla Records collectives, Bastiano Baci went on an unlimited Erasmus trip between Paris, Chicago, Ibiza and Bari, Bastiano Baci lands in Bidart for the Wheels and Waves! On the menu: Italo, disco, house & acid for a “sensazionale” DJ set.

EMMA BOO : Emma Boo is used to shows at Dia, Hotel Radio or Piñata. She will raise the temperature with a summery and sunny selection of RnB, new jazz and house.
