RIDE OUT
WHEELS AND WAVEs
Sunday morning, “meet and coffee” at the Deus tenement of tenacity in Biarritz. About thirty people from all over Europe to take the start behind Loïc Chetout. The former pro cyclist, who now organizes motorcycle rides through the Basque Country with his company Bee Wild, is our guide for the day.
According to the tradition, we start the day with a pit stop at the gas station to fill the tanks. In spite of our efforts to remain packed, part of the tradition as well, a small part of the group misses to the call…
Leaving downtown Biarritz is “throwing” us in a few minutes in the countryside, then very quickly in the mountains. As the hours go by, the road becomes twisty, narrower. It goes along a river, under the trees, in the clouds, at the bottom of a valley, at the top of a mountain. In spite of our innumerable Ride out accross the Basque Country, we still discover unknown paths.
The usual breakdowns that are part of our old vintage motorcycles allow us the pretext to have kool and fun breaks. Some groups within the group are forming. Adventures that we all share a few hours later, back downtown Biarritz for the sunset, with a beer in hand.
