Having taken part in the SURF INVITATIONAL at Wheels and Waves over the years, Clovis Donizetti has always appreciated the festival’s commitment to staying true to the essence of the longboard. The spirit of motorcycling and longboarding are, in many ways, strikingly similar — a blend of function and aesthetics.

The idea is therefore to bring surf and culture together, and to highlight the talent of today’s generation through the natural grace of longboarding.

About Clovis
Raised at Côte des Basques in Biarritz, Clovis has been immersed in longboarding from an early age. Through encounters with elders and visiting legends, his appreciation for this art form, as it was practiced in the 60s, became something deeper — not a style exercise, but a means of expression.

Since then, through various projects and competitions, he has continued to share this vision — a blend of tradition and culture.
