Somewhere in Normandy, Ben, self-taught of the anvil and the hammer operates since 2014 under his Hammernco sign. He builds, Hot Rods period 50’s maximum, motorcycles as long as they have spoked wheels, but also bicycles, sculptures and more or less ordinary objects, most often in metal, from the brass knuckle to the flower box. For some time, Wheels and Waves and Hammernco have wanted to do a project together. Today, the collaboration is sealed… with a hammer.

This one is hot, with its familiar boilermaker’s postilion shape and burned, weathered, oiled wooden handle. Homemade, with a double striking surface and marked “W&W on one side and HNCO on the other”, it’s perfect for everyday use, always at hand with its anvil-shaped wall mount.
