1963-2023! What could be more natural than Wheels and Waves 12th edition to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the masterpiece and what a masterpiece… THE ENDLESS SUMMER.
Although first released in 1964 and widely seen in 1966, THE ENDLESS SUMMER was filmed in 1963, celebrating its 60th anniversary this year.
Another cornerstone of Wheels and Waves, THE ENDLESS SUMMER follows two surfers, Mike Hynson and Robert August, on a trip around the world to find the best waves and live an endless summer… With the surf music of The Sandals in background and Bruce Brown’s personal and humorous tone, an initiatory trip between Africa, New Zealand, Tahiti, Hawaii and of course California.
