All information to prepare your Wheels and Waves Edition 12 experience and stay in the Basque Country.
After a memorable year 2023, we’re delighted to invite you to the next edition of Wheels and Waves. This 13th chapter will take place in Biarritz from June 12 to 16, 2024! Mark your calendars and get ready for an unforgettable 5-day experience in the Basque Country, where the worlds of surfing, motorcycling, skateboarding and art meet to give way to adventure, creativity and passion!
In the meantime, just sit in a comfortable armchair with a good coffee and put the sound on a good old tube amps… Live and relive the 12th edition of Wheels and Waves Biarritz by watching the film directed by our friend Yoann Branet.

HEADQUARTERS – Looking out onto the ocean, this is the soul of the festival, the ephemeral theatre of an exuberant spectacle. Encounters are made, innovations disclosed, an explosion of creativity within an astounding cultural mix, surrounded by a unique atmosphere.
PUNK’S PEAK – 21/06
Mount Jaizkibel, Spain
SPRINT RACE – At the top of Mount Jaizkibel, between the sea and the mountains, pilots from all four corners of the planet will compete in 400-meter sprints. An opportunity to see amazing bikes prepared over many months in their workshops.
WAW VINTAGE RALLY – 23/06
Bud Racing Training Camp, Magescq
ENDURO – Fun and adventure guaranteed for this vintage enduro. A few kilometers of land between fields and forest, the pilots take off, get stuck and bite the dust of this vintage enduro where the only battle to be fought is against oneself.
THE RACE OF THE LORDS – 23/06

SAND RACE – A 300m sand track, a standing start with a U-turn at mid-run, 2 pilots compete with their machines in the purest tradition of the sand races organized by the American soldiers at the end of WW2.
EL ROLLO – 24/06
Hipódromo de San Sebastián, Spain
DIRT TRACK – On the burning track transformed into arena, pilots will try to master the drift and win the heats. No front brake, a metal sole, a ring and “gaaaaz!”. The heroes of this epic spectacle have just one principle: turn left (Go West)!
ARTRIDE
Skatepark, Biarritz
EXHIBITION – Place of expression, focus will be made on artists from around the world dedicated to motorcycle, photography, street art, custom, painting, making the exhibition a unique place of communion widely publicized.

SURF CONTEST – The boards are ready, there is a perfect swell, all the conditions are met. With your feet in the sand, admire the surfers take the wave with style in this old-school display.
HIT THE DECK
Cité de l’Océan, Biarritz
SKATE CONTEST – In the middle of the Village, the ramp, another arena of the event, will see the best French and international skaters performing tricks in a crazy atmosphere during the HIT THE DECK contest.
RIDE

LOSE YOURSELF – Countless escapes that can be lived alone or with others, each one coming back to the village, strong of its stories, head full of images and memories… Whether you are 1, 2, 4… Organize your ride freely by following the suggested routes.
Here’s a suggested road map for losing yourself in the Basque Country. A 100 km ride that can be shortened at various junctions.
NB: The purchase of a pre-sale E-PASS is necessary and prior to any registration to the experiences as a pilot or competitor (El Rollo, Punk’s Peak, WAW Vintage Rally, The Race of the Lords, Log, Hit the Deck).
Once your purchase is validated, you will receive an order confirmation email.
PASS can be downloaded from your WAW account.
Your personal information can also be managed from your WAW account.
Bring your PASS 2023 edition 12 on which is the QR code and your ID card / passport. Our teams will welcome you at the W&W Village and provide you the entrance wristbands.
A special “cut line” row “Pre-sale e-PASS” will allow you to save time.
The wristband is to be worn during the entire validity of the ticket purchased. It will allow you to enter the different Wheels and Waves sites.
It’s not possible to change the name on the ticket you purchased.
Once your order is validated, you should receive a confirmation email with your purchase details.
Emails are sent to the address you registered when you placed your order. If you have not received notification within 48 hours, please check your other email addresses and check your “Spam”, “Junk” and “Trash”.

Access is free for -16 accompanied by a paying adult. Go to the ticket office with your ID card to get your wristband.

Once you’ve picked up your entry wristband, wear it every day of the event to access all Wheels and Waves sites.
Yes, we have selected food stands for you, for a wide and varied offer, favouring local products.
Choose, take a seat & enjoy a break.
By participating in Wheels and Waves you agree to be photographed or filmed. We are sensitive to the attention you pay to your dress code, in line with the year of your vehicle.
Wheels and Waves has no camping sites.
Please consult the dedicated websites. We advise you to find accommodation in Biarritz and its surroundings.

E-PASS EDITION 12 holders are able to request a W&W Village inside access via their WAW account. Come in, take your bike/car out whenever you want. Enjoy & be free! (depending on space availability).
You’ll also find parking spaces near the W&W Village and the different Wheels and Waves spots.
